Trading can result in substantial loss

Foreign exchange, CFDs, leveraged products and algorithmic strategies are high risk. You may lose some or all of the capital allocated to an account and, depending on the broker and product, may face additional liability. Do not trade money you cannot afford to lose.

Software, not a regulated investment service

VRD provides general software tools, modelling and risk information. It is not a broker, investment manager or discretionary trading service and is not represented as authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority. You remain solely responsible for whether to trade, which EA and broker to use, the capital committed and every configuration or protective action.

You should not assume that the Financial Ombudsman Service or Financial Services Compensation Scheme will cover the software, your broker, your EA, a prop firm or any resulting loss. Check each provider independently.

Expert Advisors

An EA can behave differently across brokers, symbols, spreads, commissions, execution speeds, data feeds, settings and market regimes. A profitable history or seller claim does not establish future profitability.

Grid and recovery strategies

Grid, martingale and recovery systems may show long periods of smooth profit before suffering abrupt, compounding or correlated loss. A one-way market, gap, liquidity event or failure to close can create losses far beyond normal historical experience.

Backtests and Monte Carlo

Backtests are hypothetical and affected by data quality, modelling assumptions, curve fitting, spread and execution assumptions. Monte Carlo simulations explore alternative paths but cannot represent every future event. Neither is a forecast or guarantee.

Synthetic mandates and capital efficiency

A synthetic mandate is a sizing and measurement reference, not money in a broker account, borrowed capital or guaranteed access to rescue funding. Operating with less physical capital can increase margin, transfer, timing and liquidity risk. Up to 6× refers to aggregate reference mandates relative to physical capital, not a promised return multiple.

Treasury and capital calls

Keeping capital outside an EA can limit exposure but may also mean funds are unavailable when needed. Transfers can be delayed or refused. VRD recommendations do not oblige a broker, bank or payment provider to move funds.

AI and live monitoring

AI commentary and risk scores may be incomplete, delayed or wrong. Telemetry can be interrupted. Alerts may arrive late or not at all. You must maintain independent oversight and must not rely on VRD as the only protection for an account.

Account Guardian and Defensive Shield

Account Guardian and Defensive Shield cannot guarantee intervention, rescue, closure at a chosen price or prevention of margin call or stop-out. Authorised freezes, reductions, closures and hedges can realise losses and introduce execution, spread, commission, swap, basis and margin risk. Gaps, slippage, market closure, rejected orders, insufficient liquidity, terminal failure, broker restrictions and connectivity loss can prevent or materially change execution.

Prop firms

Prop-firm rules differ and can change without notice. Presets and breach-distance monitoring must be checked against your current agreement. VRD cannot guarantee that an account will pass a challenge, remain funded or avoid a rule breach.

Portfolio effects

Strategies that appear diversified may become correlated during stress. Shared symbols, currencies, sessions, brokers, models or liquidity can create simultaneous drawdown and capital demand.

No guarantee and no personalised advice

Examples, target returns, capital-efficiency illustrations, historical outcomes, testimonials and performance pages are not promises or forecasts. Information is provided for education and decision support. Consider obtaining independent financial, legal and tax advice appropriate to your circumstances and jurisdiction.
